Company History
I entered the restoration industry in the early 2000s in the Bay area of San Francisco, California. After a final round of combing jobs online, I saw a new ad that caught my eye..."Fire-Chaser NEEDED!!"
I wish I could say they gave me a cape and a side-kick with cool toys, but I ended up working as a victims advocate for a local provider of services that helped connect victims of fire incidents to restoration companies. After fires or natural disasters would occur I would be immediately sent out to the fires to provide guidance on mitigation and containment. I was rare in these days, municipalities, utilities companies, property managers, they were eager to see me. it was there and then I met other pioneers of an industry like Tom McIver and Phil Enright, and that I saw this mutually beneficial opportunity to unite commercial and residential property owners with responsible and effective insurance and independent restoration providers.
These were the early days of first-response, "chasers" as we were called and "fire-chasing" was frowned upon by the insurance industry and in turn a number of municipalities and in some places, it still is. Progress has come in leaps and bounds. As technology improves drastically year after year, WE have been pivoting.

We pride ourselves on providing education and restoration response and management. RRT Inc. Offers many classroom courses and restoration response management. We also offer field training in real-time with your responders to real incidents to provide training and advisement and to apply our classroom concepts in restoration response.
We have assisted small and large companies in business development by assisting in answering the question of how to add this concept to a pre-existing business structure. This includes hiring, training, supervision, coaching, and program assistance.
Our Instructors have worked in various roles in the industry since 2009, Emergency Services Coordinator (Chaser), Wildland Fire Specialist, Founders of lead companies, Director of Emergency Services overseeing three chasers in 26 counties, and an instructor in Fire Restoration Response and Management in local and regional trainers in both classroom and field settings.
